Thinking About Disaster Preparedness?

With last week's power shutoff and this week's earthquake, many Piedmonters have been thinking about how to prepare themselves for disasters. The Public Safety Committee has prepared two documents you can use to make sure your family is prepared for future disasters, whatever they may be.

For those looking for a long read, please download and study the Get Ready, Piedmont! brochure. It's almost fifty pages of practical Disaster preparedness information. We've also prepared a YouTube Playlist with information from the guide.

If you're looking for a shorter read, there's a checklist with tips on what to do before and during a disaster. This document also contains crime prevention information as well as getting your neighborhood prepared for disasters.
