If there is overgrown vegetation in your neighborhood, you can work together with your neighbors to reduce the risk of wildfire spread.

Talk to your neighbors

If you are concerned about a specific property in your neighborhood, talk to the property owner. Share resources with them, such as:

• Prepare your yard for fire season
• Home wildfire protection
• Getting started - Diablo Firesafe Council

Consider helping them with yard work. Ask if they would like help with a weekend cleanup. Offer to share tools and equipment.
